I'm a big believer in laughter being the best medicine, and I always start my day by reading Dave Coverly's latest Speed Bump cartoon.  Dave has that offbeat sense of humor that is guaranteed to make me laugh.  If you aren't familiar with Speed Bump, you can check it out at http://www.speedbump.com.  Click on "today's" at the bottom of the picture, and then scroll down to the calendar.  In the calendar area, you can view cartoons by week and there are about a year's worth of cartoons available that are guaranteed to cheer you up after even the most horrendous shopping day.
